OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

Responsibilities

  • General office & sales administration
  • Company online payroll e-filing with Ceridian Payroll
  • Accounts payable - cheque payments via Quickbooks,
  • Prepare reconcilaction of account statements at month end
  • Issue purchase orders, track sales order confirmation, invoice
  • Office organization, filing
  • Shopify E-commerce product posting experience

Qualification / Requirements

  • Minimum five (5) years working in managerial Office Admin in an unsupervised / responsible role with accountability
  • Post-Secondary Education a must. University / College in Business Admin
  • Advanced computer software / computer skills
  • MS Office Software; Outlook - Intermediate, Word, Excel - Intermediate
  • Some working knowledge of Quickbooks Online
  • Basic business math skills
  • Keyboarding 55+ wpm, with a high level of accuracy
  • Proof reading / reconciling / editing skills
  • Highly detail-oriented person, excels at organizing, tracking & follow up

The Candidate:

  • Self-directed, efficient/productive, streamlines workflow.
    Can work with and without direct supervision
  • Multitasker, calm demeanour, positive professional, mature outlook
  • Set priorities, possess the drive & energy to complete tasks.

  • Looking for at least a one-year commitment, as a two (2)month, one-on-one training period is necessary.
  • The expectation is to work in-office 3 days per week - Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday.

  • Expected hours: 21 per week
