Our Story

How we Started...

Founded in 2006, FULLHOUSE began as an upscale furniture consignment shop near South Granville’s posh Gallery Row in Vancouver, BC. In a converted, subterranean converted retail space under the funky "Odd Fellows Hall” FULLHOUSE sourced pieces from private residential estates with a focus on the MCM Danish vintage era. With rapid sales growth within one year the business could not keep pace with customer demand as there was insufficient supply locally of MCM pieces, it became necessary to source directly from Copenhagen, Denmark ocean containers full of coveted 60’s Scandinavian vintage furniture.

Founder Jennifer Brash, at the business's inception, was an industry novice. She endured a steep learning curve to gain experience and decided to cease consigning furniture altogether after only a few years, and developed a roster of vendors, sourcing globally to create what is today, a curated mix of crafted, unique, upscale modern furnishings.

Fast forward, FULLHOUSE has grown into an “local go to” modern home furnishings mainstay in its West 4th Ave., Fairview location. With the dedicated & talented team, Rory McLeod & Jeevan Grewal have been instrumental in this retail story as it evolves over decades. Our success continues today with the new retail E-comm Shopify Shop, along with offering clients a personalized and elevated bricks-n-mortar showroom shopping experience.

Our desire to bring inspiration, comfort & beauty into homes is at the heart of what we do. We believe in heirlooms, and in memories created that last for generations. Our furnishings have a warm, naturally crafted aesthetic that evokes a timeless appeal, encouraging slow living, with sharing time & space.
