FULLHOUSE Modern is a home furnishings design shop located in Vancouver’s Design District, near Granville Island. You will find a spirited mix of Danish vintage & new modern — collected, layered & curated, offering an interesting & inspired shopping experience.

How it Started

Founded in 2006, FULLHOUSE began as an upscale furniture consignment shop near South Granville’s posh Gallery Row in Vancouver. In a converted, subterranean retail space under the funky "Odd Fellows Hall", FULLHOUSE sourced pieces from local, private estates with a focus on the era of MCM Danish vintage. Then, shortly thereafter with rapid sales growth the business was not able to keep pace with demand given there was insufficient supply of goods locally, it began procuring containers of the coveted vintage Scandinavian furniture directly from Copenhagen, Denmark.

Founder and owner, Jennifer Brash was an industry novice at the business's inception and endured a steep learning curve to gain industry experience. She decided to cease consigning after only a few years and expanded the roster of vendor sources to create what is today a curated mix of crafted, modern furnishings, both vintage & new.

Fast forward to today, the business has grown into an upscale modern home furnishings mainstay in its Fairview location on West 4th Ave. With our dedicated & talented team, Rory McLeod & Jeevan Grewal have helped this retail story evolve over decades. Our success continues today with the launch of an online retail shop, combined with offering clients a personalized and elevated in-showroom buying experience.

The desire to bring inspiration, comfort & beauty into Vancouver homes is at the heart of what we do. We believe in heirlooms, and in memories created that last for generations. Our furnishings have a warm, naturally crafted aesthetic that evokes a timeless appeal, encouraging slow living, with sharing time and space.
