FULLHOUSE Modern is a home furnishings design shop located in Vancouver’s Armoury Design District, near Granville Island. You will find a spirited mix of Danish vintage & new modern — collected, layered and curated -- offering a truly interesting and inspired shopping experience.

How it Started

FULLHOUSE was founded in 2006 by Jennifer Brash. With many years working as a lifestyle marketer and having a passion for furniture design (plus a chance to finally be her own boss) Jennifer opened the city’s largest and finest furniture consignment shop near South Granville’s posh Gallery Row.

In this converted subterranean space under the vintage Odd Fellows Hall, she began retailing consignment pieces with a focus on vintage MCM. She sourced locally at first, and then quickly adapted to procuring containers of vintage furniture direct from wholesalers in Scandinavia. After enduring a steep learning curve, gaining industry experience, and developing a refined buyer’s eye, she has thoughtfully expanded the roster of vendor relationships to create a curated and inspired collection of modern furnishings, both new and vintage.

Fast forward, the business has grown into a much larger home furnishings & decor mainstay in the Kitsilano / Fairview location on West 4th Ave. With a dedicated and talented team, including Rory McLeod & Jeevan Grewal, we make this retail story come to life with each passing year. Our success continues with the newly launched online shopping cart for added convenience, along with offering customers a personalized in-showroom buying experience.

The desire to help our customers bring inspiration, comfort and beauty into their homes is at the heart of what we do. We believe in heirlooms, and in memories created that last for generations.
